Stacking the Shelves #7: Week 41
Stacking the Shelves is a feature run by Tynga’s Reviews and acts as a weekly book haul. It’s a way to showcase what books you've obtained in the last week. Bought, borrowed or gifted, physical books or eBooks – it doesn't matter. Show ‘em off!

I got both of these as freebies! I love free books, I'm like a freebies-junkie.
I made my second trip to the library in seven years yesterday. When I browse the shelves I always fall for the covers and choose which books to take home sometimes more based on the covers than the synopsis. Am I the only one? The Demon Trappers series had gorgeous backs and I just had to read it. The synopsis sounds awesome as well, big plus.
I made a vow to finish Days of Blood and Starlight before the end of 213 and there it was, just standing on the shelf. Like fate. The I realized it was over a year and a half I read Daughter of Smoke and Bone and I can't remember how it ended so I had to get that one as well. The first time around I read it as an eBook and I have no perception of how number of pages correlates with thickness of the paperback/hardcover, I just read. Imagine my surprise when I realize both boos are HUGE!
