Top Ten (Ehm.. Seven) Tuesday #14: Books I've Had To Read

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly Top Ten list hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

Today's original Top Ten is "Books I Was Forced to Read" but there haven't been many, if any, books I've been forced to read out side school. In school' there's been plenty. Sadly, most of them has actually been forced. I have issues with reading books I have to read, I kinda have to be in a mood to be able to read a certain book. If I'm in a mood for a hot, steamy romance there's noway I'm gonna be able to read something serious and vice versa. Put a book in my hand that I have to read and I'm pretty sure I'm never gonna be in a mood to read it.

Since it's hard to make a top ten books I like the most of book I don't particularly like I'm gonna twist this week's topic to "Top Ten Books I've Had To Read" as in I've said I'll review them so I should, like, really should. Se here's my list of seven (I only made it that far) best books of which I've received a free copy/ARC for review.

  4. Hmm I hadn't thought of ARCs! Maybe because I don't request so much of them... But most of the books I was "forced" into reading were school books or books that are HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by my friends or family =)

  6. I have a hard time with books I feel like I HAVE to read as well. It makes them FEEL forced, you know? I'm a moody reader like you, so it's sometimes difficult to make myself read a certain book at a certain time. Definitely understand how you feel!

  8. They're sooo good. Has Tijan ever written something that I wouldn't devour in a matter of hours?! Thanks!

  9. That's exactly how it is! It's so hard to get to reading review copies and then I feel bad because I just push them ahead of me when I said I'd read them.

  11. I have just a teeny tiny NetGalley addiction. No biggie. It's not like I request more books than I can read. No way, not doing that, hasn't happened...

Unfortunately the only one in my family who reads is my mom and she only reads boring grown-ups books. Like "this is the life of a South-African woman"-kind of books. She loves them and I couldn't like them less.
