Stacking the Shelves / Showcase Sunday #16: Week 50

Stacking the Shelves is a feature run by Tynga’s Reviews , Showcase Sunday is hosted by Books, Biscuits, and Tea. Both acts as a weekly book haul and is a way to showcase what books you've obtained in the last week. Bought, borrowed or gifted, physical books or eBooks – it doesn't matter. Show ‘em off!

It seems the books I got for my birthday were forgotten in last week's post, so here they are:

Nr 1. - The complete Divergent series box set including a 48 pages booklet, "The World of Veronica Roth's Divergent Series" including Faction Manifestos, a Faction Quiz and Results, a Q&A with Veronica Roth, playlists, discussion questions, series inspirations and a lot of other stuff.

Nr 2. - McFly - Unsaid thing... Our story. I am a HUGE McFly fan and have been for the last nine years and they're still just as awesome, if not better, than when they started. So I though it was time to read their biography. SO EXCITED!

I saw one of the sequels to The Testing on a Waitong on wednesday post and I just HAD to read this series. An lucky me, it was on sale on Amazon (still is, get it here). I read Friends without Benefits last week (review here) and I needed more Penny Reid instantly. Lucky me again, the first book in the series, Neanderthal Seeks Human, was on sale too (still is, get it here). Then I hosted a book tour stop and an interview with R.L. Griffin's last book in the By a Thread series and that caught my attention too. Luckily, again, and book one and two are on sale until tomorrow, get book one here and book two here.

Amazon Freebies:

Fall For You is a Pride and Prejudice retelling that sounds great, and it was free (still is, get it here) so who am I to say no? Emerge was both recommended by a friend and free so I couldn't say no. (Not free anymore but still on sale, get it here)

For Review:

I got London Falling ARC as part of the book tour I'm participating it right after it's release.

  4. Eeeek! That's awesome you have the full boxset of the Divergent trilogy! I have all 2 of the books now, but the covers don't match. :/ That does bother me quite a lot. (Still, I can live with it, because I ADORE that series.) The Testing also looks awesome. :) Happy reading!
    My StS!

  9. I love it when you manage to get matching cover, which is why I hate when authors/publishers changes the cover layout half way through the series! Thanks :)
