Stacking the Shelves #21: Week 22

Stacking the Shelves is a feature run by Tynga’s Reviews . It's a weekly book haul and is a way to showcase what books you've obtained in the last week. Bought, borrowed or gifted, physical books or eBooks – it doesn't matter. Show ‘em off!

I was at a cousin's wedding last weekend (It was so, so beautiful!) and didn't have time to put together a StS, so this week you get two week worth of books. How I managed to keep it to just four I have no idea.

Purchased:
Pucked by Helena Hunting - When I picked it up I had never heard of the author, never heard of the book and had no idea what it was about. Someone shared this quote and that was all I needed. I still haven't read the blurb. But it devoured the book, it is crazy good.
“Buck is a mammoth, like a yeti. A huge perverted, hairy whore of a yeti. According to the sportscasters, Buck's an excellent hockey player. I'd agree, based on his yearly salary alone. No one gets much money for sucking, not even extremely skilled prostitutes.”
Combative by Jay McLean - I've read McLean before and they've always been really good so when she branched out and tried something new I jumped on the chance to get it.

Freebies:
Stained by Ella James - What's two weeks worth of books without freebies? I really liked the blurb of Stained, and it has a 3.7 star rating on GR but somehow all the first listed reviews are 2 star reviews and I usually don't scroll very far when it comes to reviews. So yeah, I only read bad reviews of the book but still bought it. And I still think it sounds great!

Once Bitten by Trina M. Lee - I'm not sure aht I think about Once Bitten, but it was free so what the heck. The werewolf/vampire crossover might be great.

What did you guys get this week? Have you read any of mine? Thoughts about them?
