Goodreads Synopsis:
Ever have one of those days where nothing seems to go right?

Well, every day is like that for Jessalyn Bell. Falling victim to a streak of extremely bad luck, Jessalyn can rarely go a day without encountering a disastrous occurrence. Her parents’ divorce, her inability to meet quota at her sales job, and the incident in which she’s mistakenly arrested are just the beginning. There’s also the fact that every single date with her boyfriend Kyle goes wrong.

Unpleasant surprises wait around every corner, but through her various misadventures Jessalyn comes to realize that every cloud has a silver lining, that friendships can develop in the most unlikely places, and that love and romance are every bit as spontaneous and unpredictable as a bout of bad luck.

Top Ten Tuesday #16: This Could Be A Scary Book But Isn't

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly Top Ten list hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
I don't read scary books. Anything labeled thriller or horror is immediately pushed aside to a dark corner where it sits for so long that it'll be dusty and covered in spiderweb before anyone ever touches it again. Not because there aren't any good thriller or horror books out there but because I am waaaay to emotionally invested in what I read. I'm pretty sure I'd scream my head off and you'd hear my heartbeat from a mile away if I ever attempted one. Here's the thing, I feel more while reading than I do watching movies, and I jumped high one more than one scene in Ice Age 2. That's a kid movie, and I freaked. Imagine me reading a scary book....
Because of this I don't have that many scary covers in my personal library and while I could go looking for the most scary ones on GR I'm not really comfortable doing it that way. I kinda like to know what I'm putting on and…

I saw a recommendation of 3:AM Kisses by one of my many liked bookish Facebook pages and I just had to have it. So I got it.

A couple of week's ago I made a whole buch of reservations through the library and this week I hit the jackpot and got to pick up Cinder, Angelfall and Billy and Me. I've been kinda scared of Cinder, the hype is huge and just reading the blurb it really wasn't my kind of book but I was truly transfixed by this retelling (Review will be up tomorrow). The same pretty much goes for Angelfall but I haven't got to reading that one yet.
I'm a huge McFly fan. Huge! I can listen to McFly all day every day and if you haven't heard them …
