Stacking the Shelves / Showcase Sunday #14: Week 48

Stacking the Shelves is a feature run by Tynga’s Reviews , Showcase Sunday is hosted by Books, Biscuits, and Tea. Both acts as a weekly book haul and is a way to showcase what books you've obtained in the last week. Bought, borrowed or gifted, physical books or eBooks – it doesn't matter. Show ‘em off!

The Love series was on sale for $0.99 each and it was recommended by someone I trust so I went for it. We'll see how that turn out. I liked Losing It which is the first book in the series so I figure I might like Finding It, haven't read the second book yet but as far as I know they can be read as stand-alones. Suddenly Royal was on sale too, I'm not entirely sure what I think about it yet but I'll start it sometime soon.
What did you get this week? Leave a link in the comments and I'll check it out.

I am a HUGE Tijan fan and I jumping up and down with excitement for her new release Fallen Crest Public, which is the third book in the Fallen Crest series. Since I couldn't choose just one out of many good ones here's two to get you as excited as me.
Teaser one:
Mason’s head lifted back up and he grinned, his eyes darkening as he tugged me close. “Coach Grath is lucky to have you. He knows that. And he knows you’re dedicated to running. He won’t be that pissed. Wasn’t he supposed to email you the location, anyway?”
“Oh yeah.” But then I stopped thinking about that…

Isn't the cover of Behind His Lens by R.S. Grey absolutely gorgeous?! The blurb sounds as there are a lot of sexy stuff involved but I have it on good authority that Behind His Lens is A LOT cleaner than a many other NA's and adult books out there today. The books sounds awesome to me and I am so excited for this release!

Top Ten Tuesday #19: Things I Am Thankful For

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly Top Ten list hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
In true thanksgiving spirit we're listing ten things we are thankful for. I'm Swedish (if you've somehow missed that) and we don't celebrate thanksgiving, so I don't know how you usually do this at the dinner table (I know you  Americans do that, they do it in Hollywood movies so it has to be true, right? ;)) We have a lot of other holidays but not thanksgiving. I'm going to give it a try and it might turn out to be a list of bookish things mixed with things unrelated to books, we'll see.
1. My amazing friends. They're the best, sadly many of them moved to other cities and universities for their master degrees after we finished our B.Sc's. I am thankful that we still keep in touch and talk on the phone and visit whenever we can. Of course I'm also thankful for the crazy bunch still living in the area!
2. Authors. They're my superheroes, there will be a whole post on t…

I'm not your typical girl. I've been running away from the memories that haunt me for so long that depression has become my only comfort. I was content in the darkness...until Wes Michals offered to be my light.
I didn't know that time wasn't my ally -- that every second that ticked past was one step closer to the end of something that was beginning to mean the end of myself. He tried to warn me. He promised me all he was able to offer--each moment as it came--but it would never be enough.

Sometimes when you think it's the end, it's only the beginning. Wes thought he could save me, but in giving me everything, he ruined me. Because after one kiss, one touch, I couldn't--I wouldn't ever be the same.

And from that moment on, his heartbeat became my own.
What I thought:

I absolutely LOVED the first book, Elite, and Rachel has written some of my favorite books so I was ecstatic to rediscover this one. Since it was on NetGalley I immediately requested it so I kinda have this one already, and have read it too. IT IS AMAZING! I just had to share this with you and make you aware of its existence.

On sale January 28th
Bodyguard (and baby-sitter) to spoiled-rich-girl Kelsey Summers isn’t exactly what he’d been looking for, but it’s a chance to travel, to get away from the home that has felt stifling ever since his return. It would be a pretty sweet gig if it weren’t for the fact that Kelsey’s father doesn’t want Kelsey to know she’s being followed. Hunt feels guilty (and a little bit creepy) as he watches her from afar. She’s vibrant and infuriating, exciting and reckless, mysterious and familiar. When he sees her falling into the same patterns that he suffered years ago, he decides it’s time to stop watching and help her instead. But getting to know her is more difficult than he thought, especially because the more he knows her,the more he wants her.
