Stacking the Shelves #5: Week 39

Stacking the Shelves is a feature run by Tynga’s Reviews and acts as a weekly book haul. It’s a way to showcase what books you've obtained in the last week. Bought, borrowed or gifted, physical books or eBooks – it doesn't matter. Show ‘em off!

Click on the covers to get to their Goodreads page you're going to Amazon this week.

I signed up for this very nifty thing called BookBub. Now I get daily, I think, could be bidaily, emails with a list and summary of books that are currently free, $0.99, $1.99 or $2.99 on AZ and/or BN. This book collection was in yesterdays email and I just couldn't resist. $0.99 for three books? Sign me up! It's on sale until tomorrow.

Shoot, I just realized I broke my "No buying books in September"-vow. Darn, I was so close. And I didn't even think about it! Ugh. I still haven't come up with a suitable punishment for breaking one of the vows, any suggestions?

  1. Aw. I need a book buying ban. Although I've done quite well this week and only bought cheap books. I hope you enjoy these books!

  2. Haha, I think a book buying ban would be good for a lot of us. Good work :) Thanks!

  3. I'm just curious, why are the books linked to Amazon this week and not to Goodreads? :)

  4. Because it's still on sale! Right now, that's the only reason. I had others when I wrote this but I can't seem to remember any of them :P

  5. Book Buying Ban's don't work for all of us. I need to go on a book ban from Edelweiss and NG but I can't stop myself. Good solid series.

  6. I don't think it works for any of us, is books any book blogger's vice? I've actually kept myself off NG for a few weeks, though it was a good idea to catch up with the ones I already have. I haven't figured out how to use Edelweiss yet so I've got no worries there :P

  7. I need to institute a galley ban. I have way too many and my stat number is way too low. Happy reading!
